General

Enable "zoom-effect" on thumbnail previews
When you scroll over the thumbnails in your tray, they automatically enlarge for better viewing. You can disable this feature by unchecking this option in the preferences menu.
 
Show tool tips
When you hover your mouse over the different features of the toolbar, a tooltip appears to better explain that feature. Once you are comfortable with the toolbar, you can disable by unchecking this option in the preferences menu.
 
Enable keyboard shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts can speed up simple actions that normally require a mouse click. To disable shortcuts, uncheck this option in the preferences menu.
 
Make Viewpoint my default search engine
Use the address bar in your browser to perform your search. If you’re unsure about the URL for a website you want to visit, type in what you think it might be and if the website does not exist, we'll perform a search to help get you there. Uncheck this option in your preferences menu to disable this feature.
 
Tray Size
This pertains to the size of the thumbnails that display in the tray. The default setting is Small. If you have a higher screen resolution or would like to see bigger thumbnails and/or more description text, you can choose Medium or Large.
 
Save and display Search History
The Toolbar saves recent search terms for quick access to those results. To clear, click the Clear Search History button in the preferences menu. If you do not want to save your search history, uncheck this option.
 
Automatically search when you select from
search history
This option speeds up your search results since you won’t have to click the search button after electing the search term. This is a default setting and can be disabled by unchecking in the preferences menu.
 
Clear Search History
To clear your Search History list, click this button located in the Toolbar preferences menu.
